🎎 Bmw E90 Cd Changer Not Working

Wondering if anyone know anything about cd/mp3 changer ?? thinking about ordering this Alpine CHA-S634 ($330) for my new e90. Alpine cd/mp3 changer for e90 ? they got 3 changers that fit the bmw, BUTif you have a DSP system, non of those will work. Since I order the premium sound (logic 7), so i guess i am out of luck then.. hehe I thought of undertaking a retrofit of the 6 CD changer install. My car is a 12/2006 prod E92, with base stereo and Navi Prof. I am in Dublin, so it is RHD. It did not come with a CD Changer, but the HU plays MP3. I managed to find a CD Changer cheap enough which is known to play MP3s. The part number is 65129133083. I will pull up to a gas station listening to cds, turn the car off for ten minutes, and when I turn it back on it has switched over to radio and the cd changer is no longer recognized. I have two magazines and have used each with the same results. Step 4: Press and release the Power Button Again. Press the power button down and release it for the second time. The idea is to reset the BMW radio by switching it to the default setting. Let this be the last time pressing and releasing the power button. i have no idea what laser unit navi 3 uses. just pull the top lid off of your nav unit and see what it says on to op the dvd drive. on the navi02 it said dvd m3 4.6. so i searched for that dvd unit and i found this link below showing that other bmw navs have the same dvd mechanism and the lasers inside of those are the sf-hd4. Friction fit. Remove the AC panel trim. Remove the AC panel. Both friction fit. Then remove the radio faceplate. Friction fit. Then you will have access to the 4-6 bolts holding the HU in the dash. They are either phillips head or T15 or T20 torx. I know the CD/DVD drive for CCC units can be bought separately to replace. My car is a BMW E38 750iL, year 1999 (10/98). The car has MkIV navigation, 16/9 widescreen, original CD changer, DSP plus latest generation BM54 radio. The BM54 radio has a great advantage when looking for an upgrade since the radio has AUX. My car is an ibus car. When upgrading my system I made these changes: Replaced the original CD changer 5U5E.
